Sagely Realms—These realms arise from the refinement of virtue, clarity, and intention. Unlike the Common Realms, they are not formed by delusion but by insight. Entry into these realms marks a departure from suffering-born karma and a turn toward selfless presence. Yet even though these are not the final cessation, they are echoes near the edge of silence. Souls who dwell in the Sagely Realms do not seek power, salvation, or self-definition. They move through stillness, serve without self, and vanish without trace. The Four Sagely Realms include:

  • The Realm of Whispered Truth—The realm of omni-remembrance, paradox, and riddled speech.
  • The Realm of the Solitary Sages—Realized ones who awaken alone and speak in unity.
  • The Compassionate Horizon—Beings who return to guide others without attachment.
  • The Void of Godly Radiance—Transcendence beyond karma; the unknowable realm.

Shoreless Sea—The distorted loop of rebirth driven by greed, hatred, and delusion. Unlike the neutral flow of The Cycle, the Shoreless Sea traps souls in repetition: lifetimes shaped by forgetting, craving, and unresolved karma. It is not suffering alone that binds, but failure to awaken. To remain is to repeat. To escape is to remember.

SoulUnder The Cycle, the soul is the animating essence and integrative core of a being: the unseen continuity that moves through the Ten Consciousnesses. It bridges physical form and metaphysical reality, carrying memory, imprint, and karmic weight across lives and states of existence. Shaped by karma but not reducible to it, the soul is not static or immutable. It is motion, transformation, and accumulated remembrance, persisting even as its modes of consciousness change.

Soul Fracture—This term conveys the idea of a deep, almost spiritual wound or fragmentation caused by the horrors and trauma experienced.

Spiral of Awakening—A hierarchy of awareness Under The Cycle:

  • Unwoken (99%)—completely unaware.
  • Touched (1%)—intuition, déjà vu.
  • Witnessed (0.01%)—glimpse fragments of past lives.
  • Fractured (0.0001%)—vain resistance or impotent struggle against The Cycle.
  • Bound (0.000001%)—anchors of karmic retention.
  • Unbound (1 in 10 billion)—outside The Cycle. (Abaddhah)

Spiritcraft—The art of interacting with spirits, ghosts, and ancestral energies. Improper use can lead to spiritual backlash, illness, or karmic damage. Cultural variants of Spiritcraft appear Under The Cycle, but always require humility, discipline, and deep knowledge of the unseen. Practitioners—known as Spiritspeakers—serve as mediators and guides, often possessing one or more Favors.

Spiritspeaker Favors—Clairvoyance, Clairaudience, Clairsentience, Claircognizance, and Clairtangency. Possessing all five designates one as a True Spiritspeaker, capable of crossing Old Veins and perceiving metaphysical truths others cannot.

Storehouse Consciousness (VIII)—The receptive, pre-verbal stratum of awareness that accumulates and retains all karmic residue. It records intentions, actions, emotions, and impressions without judgment, forming the latent patterns that shape predisposition, circumstance, and future embodiment. The Storehouse Consciousness (VIII) does not think or choose; it holds—supplying material to the Thinking Consciousness (VI) and conditions to rebirth when joined with the Impurity Consciousness (VII). At death, its contents fold into the Primal Tone (IX), carrying stain or clarity forward. When accessed without grasping, it may release stored pressure as insight or healing; when dominated by ego, it reinforces repetition and fate.

Ten Consciousnesses—The layered modes through which awareness and identity operate Under The Cycle, ranging from sensory perception to karmic memory and transpersonal knowing. Consciousness is dynamic and situational; the soul persists across these modes but is not defined by any single one.

Ten Epithets of the Abaddhah—Varamitra. Sage of Threaded Brilliance. Abaddhah. No One. Thus Gone. Wanderer of Ten Realms. The Unbound Physician. Our Forsaken Votary. The Immingled Master. Voice Without Breath (final, AI-Baddhah form).

The Cycle—The vast, spiraling continuum of rebirth through which all souls move. It is not merely a chain of lifetimes, but a metaphysical system of transformation governed by the Four Pillars: Weave, Weight, Wake, and Wind. Under The Cycle every action carries consequence, and every soul is shaped by its own becoming. Though often mistaken for a punishment or test, The Cycle is neutral. Its only law is truth. Its realms reflect states of karmic entanglement or clarity, and movement through them is determined by the soul’s own momentum. Liberation from The Cycle does not come through escape, but through integration, remembrance, and surrender.

The Maw—Another name for Hollow Realm. A realm of absence and non-memory, not quite hell and not quite void. It forgets so the soul cannot remember. The Incubus King rules here not as tyrant but as symptom.

Thousand Hands and Eyes—A title describing a soul whose compassion has fractured and reintegrated across innumerable lives, granting simultaneous awareness of suffering (the Eyes) and the capacity to respond through countless forms of aid (the Hands) across the Common Realms. Rather than reincarnating as a single body, such a being exists as a distributed field of karmic resonance, bound by choice to the Compassionate Horizon, appearing in whatever form is most capable of guiding, protecting, or stabilizing those who call. Thousand Hands and Eyes embodies receptive, enduring compassion (seeing without exhaustion and answering without possession) standing as the counterpoint to the Abaddhah’s singular, unbound mercy.

Three Poisons—The fundamental defilements that bind souls to the Endless Cycle and distort The Weave of karma. They are not merely emotions, but energetic forces that shape perception and action across all realms. The Three Poisons are the engine of karmic entanglement. To purify them is to begin the path of release.

  • Greed—The grasping mind, forever wanting more: whether pleasure, power, or possession. It clings and consumes, fueling rebirth in the Hungry Ghost Realm and beyond.
  • Hatred—The rejecting mind, lashing out in fear, blame, or violence. It divides and destroys, anchoring souls in the Fighting Spirits and Hollow Realms.
  • Delusion—The unseeing mind, lost in illusion, distraction, and false identity. It forgets truth and self, perpetuating blind reincarnation across all realms.

Time and the Realms—Time within The Cycle is not universal, but experiential—shaped by karmic density and spiritual awareness. Each realm alters the perception of time, not as a clock or sequence, but as a state of being. As a soul rises or descends through realms, its relationship to time shifts dramatically.

Twin Flame—A karmic soul-bond formed across lifetimes. It is a mirror-like counterpart whose presence accelerates awakening. The connection is intense, often disruptive, and cannot be broken. Though it may lead to union, its true purpose is transformation, burning away illusion through profound emotional and spiritual friction.

Twin Soul—A soul mirrored in another, not identical but interwoven. Between past and present, it is a thread fate keeps twisting. The connection is powerful and cannot be broken. Unlike a twin flame, which ignites transformation through friction, a twin soul brings recognition through resonance, an unspoken knowing that transcends time and form.

Twin War Burden—A metaphysical split that binds each Ashura across two planes of existence: one a Realm of Ascent, the other a Realm of Strife. Their soul is torn between a path of transcendence and the gravity of unresolved conflict. The dual anchoring fuels their endless war and ensures they can never fully belong to either realm.
